I am always fascinated on seeing the beauty of flowers. One day in life i will have a garden at home, for now i love being nomadic. The colors in flowers appear good during vibrant moods. That is the reason all cultures associate flower to different feelings like giving rose for expressing love.

 In india , flowers are used by women to get flavour for their hair, for dedicating to god in temples, For decoration in marriages and festivals, and even during death ceremonies, during political rallies. Flowers have become so integral part of life even during golden days of sangam period, kapilar, a tamil poet sung about 99 different flowers.







The serene arakku valley – rail route. Now in 2016 Indian government has released a glass coached train in this route. Love to travel.

The arraku valley tourism circuit is yet to improve, no information, very few blogs, difficulty in accessing, etc makes people miss a wonderful spot. Now that we have glass coach from the Indian railways.

  I recommend raichur for bird watching only if you are a serious bird watcher. For all other tourists there is very little in raichur and those interested in bird watching go ahead. I stayed there or two years during my stint at a public sector company and these winged visitors helped my stay with their morning and evening calls. However for more serious birder, you need to venture out only 2-3 kms from your room(if you live nearby shaktinagar).I assure you on any given day you can spot more than 50 species of birds in less than 2 hours, and more han 100 in a day. Sangatta to Balikpapan via Bontang and Samarinda - a journey through sky

After a melancholic 60 days stay at Sangatta,Indonesia, I was sitting in  a twin otter  plane seated right behind the pilot and peeking  through  the glass  window, waiting for the plane to take off. Onward journey from balikpapan to sangatta was through land and also exciting one, but without knowing a bit of language at that time, I was just talking with eyes and expresions and actions. Hectic googling prior to my jouney two months ago about the place where i am going to live(sangatta) did not reveal any information. It is quite an unexplored place. Cycling in the Enchanting mahabaleshwar

Why we choose cycling? To have a different experience   me and my friend decided to explore mahabaleshwar on foot. We stayed at the Maharashtra tourism development corporation guest house. On the first day we bought a map rom the local store and just discussed about the view points we can cover. From the map we inferred the nearest points are within a kilometre in range and started immiediately to the   Mumbai point-other name for sunset point .                                                   The road to Mumbai point. We reached in no time around 3:00 PM, spent some time there enjoying the sun waiting for it    to disappear when viewed from a hill. We lost patience at around 4:00 PM and realised our mistake. Because it is a sunset point , sun need not set whenever a tourist comes there and we are too early for that.
