A tale of two cities - Goa in India vs Bali in Indonesia

Ever since i visited bali, my thoughts ran back to GOA, which is one of my favourite destinations. A comparison between Goa and Bali would be ideal in my point of view since both these have many many similiarities. And from the readers perspective who want to choose between Goa and Bali from the table they can come to a clear conclusion of what they are looking for. All other things about these places is available on the internet.

I conclude like this. If you are interested in diving go to Bali although options are available near GOA. If you want to roam around freely without much traffic , head straight to GOA. Most of other things are available in both these places.

  3. Lived in Goa for 1 year and bali for 5. Both need infrastructure. Traffic in bali is chaos but it has more infrastructure than goa. The weather is the same, Bali is more expensive. Police and Gov are extremely corrupt in both places. Locals in both places are no longer friendly like 30 years ago. Its the help from neighboring areas that do all the work and are friendly. They are both very similar. Its easier to smoke weed in goa, its easier to hook up with a local chick in bali. Very very similar.
